I am a self-taught, adaptive arts specialist, and decorated USAF Veteran. I created the collection below as a gift from my heart to the 2024 Remember The Removal Team. While reflecting on the heavy material and stories we’d turned up researching the local history over the last year, I threw these vessels on my electric kick wheel. I am thrilled to have created every one of these pieces and to have been able to give them personally. I am profoundly grateful for the experience.
Thank you to everyone! ~ Tiana

Decoration: The outside of each piece is saturated in a deep matte black that sharply contrasts the bright interior and lines that overlap and encircle the outside. The colors are found in the flag of the Cherokee Nation and are used to represent the many different people and travel routes used during the period of Forced Removal.
